If there is a hump down the middle of the belt, that means you walking belt is shot. You should have been lubing that belt at least once a year.

I would take console apart again, then unplug the ribbon cable that goes from keypad to Console/Pcb and clean the end of it and then plug it back in and see if that helps.

The drive roller is not adjusted correctly and that's why belt runs on a angle.

You should be able to lift edge of belt 2 to 3 " on each side, sound like belt was over tighten. You should lube deck every 6 months.

I would take console apart unplug ribbon cable that goes from key pad to PCB and the clean the ends and then plug back in and see if it works.
