Your motor control board has failed, typically from too much current draw caused (most likely) by the additional friction of a worn belt and deck.

if you have a light on the lower board that tells you that you have AC power coming into unit. If you have a voltmeter you can check to see if you have power going to console on the red wire & the black wire should be between 8 to 12 vdc.

did the belt feel smooth underneath? how old is the belt?

If the walking belt feels smooth underneath or if belt is over 7 years old it would have to be replaced.

If belt is bunched up in the middle it will need to be replace , you will not be able to fix that. the walking belt is just worn out.
