What is your zip code?
-
Are you sure the drive belt is slipping and not the pulley on the front roller.
-
Sounds like you may have a issue with the Drive motor itself, Not strong enough to run with a load applied to it.
-
Make sure you calibrate new motor controller, also with that red light blinking-If light is on and blinking rapidly - AC power is present, it is receiving a speed signal and is outputting DC voltage.
-
Is this a brand new treadmill, if so i would contact nordictrack.
-
Sounds just like a bad motor controller.
-
I don't of any product that you can buy at home depot that would work. I would loosen running belt and try running unit with just the motor and front roller spinning and see if it still has a error code.
-
That motor controller is $159.99 plus shipping. We do have it ,but just not listed up on our site. To order please call me 888-362-1105 then enter Ext 331 and ask for Jim.

You have to take upper console apart, and the membrane just unpeels from the front of console.
-
Err Code 01 through 18 - (Button Error) Indicates the keyboard membrane has a stuck key. Do not hold down any key for more than 5 seconds or this error will appear. 1. Insert the magnetic key back into the control panel and do not touch any keys, if…

Yes that means you will need a new motor controller, and yes if that does not fix issue you can return it.

Your smooth 5.1hr was made by keys fitness for smooth, here is the calibration procedures. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/calibrating-the-treadmill-keys-kf

That unit would be fine, make sure you lube the walking belt every 6 months.
-
Could be a issue with motor controller
-
You want to check for DC Voltage up at console on the red wire & the black wire, should have 8 to 12 vdc.
-
Sounds like a motor controller.
-
Yes
-
Maybe in the wheels.
-
Only thing you could do is check the main wire harness from top to both and make sure you have continuity with a voltmeter.
-
No it is not.
-
when you try to increase speed or incline on console do the numbers change on the console?
-
Really sounds the deck needs to be replaced. I would try to lube belt with https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/world-famous-lube-3pk and that should be done once a year.
-
Sounds like the walking deck may be worn out which is causing the belts to wear out sooner then they should.
-
Issue could still be in console, does your incline work?
-
That is your issue, its the console.

You would need to contact Horizon fitness, most likely you will need to change out upper console.
-
You want to test for 8 to 12 vdc on the black wire & red wire, if you get 8 to 12vdc and console is not lighting up then the issue is in the console.
