Best regular treadmill for walking...

Hi, I understand that motors for running treadmills are built for higher speeds and using a regular treadmill as a walking treadmill for a standing desk will stress the motor. That said, I want to buy ONE treadmill rather than one for walking while working and a second for actual running workouts with incline.
I've been looking at the 2019 Norditrack X11i and note that it has a "sledpush" setting where the machine simulates a sled-push and is meant to be used at slow speeds for these workouts. Would that mean the motor on this model will withstand the stress of walking speeds as a walking treadmill would?

Thanks :)

  • That unit would be fine, make sure you lube the walking belt every 6 months.
