Hello! We find that most have belts that are worn which causes high friction and blows out electrical parts - here are a few things you can check - once checked we can go from there! https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/treadmill-belt-bogs-down

Sounds like you have a bad motor controller
-
can you test the red wire & the black wire? You should have anywhere from 8vdc to 12vdc on those two wires. If you have that voltage then the console is bad. If you do not have the voltage then the motor controller is bad.

Are there any crimps in any wires inside? If you are mechanically inclined you can try these tests: https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/symptom-d-o-a-treadmill

If you have a digital console where you just press the buttons, the speed signal will go through the power board. Check the PWM light on the power board. If it is flickering, you know the console and harness are good. Check the wiring from the pow…

I would just lube aroung the outside then carefully use a rubber mallet and someting flat to tap them back into place. and then do the same thing with bearings apply lube or grease into the bearing cup, then gently tap in the bearings.

sounds like a friction problem with the walking belt, try to lube the belt and see if that helps.

AS long as the black wire is still attached lol For not being an electrician you did GREAT!

No lie - buying used is a risk - we can find many parts but a lot of people are left out of luck when the manufacturer decides they no longer need to manufacture. There are a few sites that sell used parts but unless you are extremely mechanically …

Sounds like a console issue.
-
Just take hood cover off treadmill and you will see the large drive motor and you will see a black wire & red wire going from motor to lower board, unplug those two wires.

That is incredible news! Yay for the win! Sometimes it is amazing what the turn of a screw can do

Good morning! Sounds like you have a short either in the motor controller or drive motor... can you unplug the drive motor from lower board and then see what happens? If breaker still trips you have a bad motor controller. If it does not trip th…

Do you have the complete model number its located on a sticker down on the frame close to the floor when you fold unit up. Also you can look under the hood cover and there is a piece of paper inside a envelope that has the model number on the paper.

sounds like it may be a motor controller issue or drive motor, when you try to start it and your press the start button does the time start to count up?

If you look at your owners manual on page 26 & 27 it shows what screws need to be taken out to remove hood cover. I can't really tell where the noisy is coming from sorry. If you don't get help from proform, i would contact your credit company a…
