send me a picture of your existing board. kclay@treadmilldoctor.com
-
can you get me the specific model number of the 2950?
-
That really sounds like there is a bad connection somewhere in the wiring
-
you're welcome
-
Locate the incline motor connector on the new board. Then, follow the red and black wires from that connector back to the incline motor and swap those 2 wires on the motor. (unplug the machine first)
-
Congratulations Bob
-
do you have the specific model number of the machine?
-
I do not have that diagram and it's "out of stock" with Nordic Track
-
yes, I have that belt and deck
-
What is the model number of the machine?
-
that controller looks to be out of stock
-
my bad. serial number of the treadmill
-
do you have a serial number?
-
controller!
-
it should register as open with no magnet and a closed circuit with the magnet in place.
-
did you pass a magnet in front of it as you were testing?
-
yes
-
sounds as if the controller is bad. These boards usually fail because they start to overheat. They overheat because of friction between the belt and deck
-
That looks like the main harness.
-
I would check to see if the upright lift motors wires are in the upright posts. There will be one on either side.
-
how was the speed sensor tested?
-
did you disconnect at the top of the upright post?
-
What is the model number of the 2950?
-
glad to hear it.
-
you can test the motor with a cordless drill battery. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/motor-testing
-
This is a failed controller but they usually fail because of repeated overheating. That is caused by a worn walking belt or one that needs lubrication. How old is the belt? Have you lubricated it?
-
I'm starting to think the console is the issue too!
-
you may have to loosen the walking belt up and let the left side of the front roller move forward in order to get this belt back in place.
-
There is calibration for it. check under the settings button if it has one. if not, https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/incline-calibration-instructions
