check to verify that the sensor is about an 1/8 of an inch away from the magnet on the front pulley and verify that the magnet is still in place.

turn off all the wifi and bluetooth devices nearby and then try rebooting it a couple times. I want to eliminate all possibilities of interference.

there are 2 small potentiometers on the motor controller. Locate the one that is labeled "tach". Turn it about 1/8 of a turn and then try the machine.
