This is a software issue. If you can get me the specific model number of the machine I'll check to see if there is a way to reinstall the software.
-
This is most likely a failed motor controller. try checking the voltage going up to the console/display
-
That is a friction issue between the belt and deck. Try using more lubricant

yes, it will work.
-
that sounds like it could be a motor controller failure. However, I have seen the consoles on the X9i fail from time to time too. Check to see if you're getting voltage going up to the console. (8-12VDC between the red and black wires in the 8 pin w…

no, it's not. the console/display is different than the controller.
-
This is most likely a console problem. replacing the console is what's needed.
-
it is possible. It could also be a console issue. Do the buttons beep when pressed? They do on most machines.
-
yes, I would say soon. keep it lubricated and Here is a code you can use on the checkout page for a 5% discount (5offkevin)

yes
-
I don't think its a calibration issue
-
This sounds as if its a controller. once I replaced the controller I would do an amp draw test just to verify the condition of the belt. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/dc-amp-draw Here is a code you can use on the checkout page for a 5% discount (5…

yes, you remove the existing transformer. and just plug and play. some will require a calibration but that's an easy process

can you get me the serial number of the treadmill?

This is a motor controller failure. Test the motor to be sure. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/motor-testing Here is a code you can use on the checkout page for a 5% discount (5offkevin)

Check the voltage in the main harness. you're looking for 8-12VDC between the red and black wires in the harness.
-
ok, let me know
-
Try doing an amp draw test. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/dc-amp-draw
-
sounds as if the belt getting thin and ready to fold over on itself
-
what I would do is verify the wire harness. make sure none of the wires got pinched or damaged. Also check the connectors.
-
how old is the walking belt? It may be that it needs to be replaced. Try doing an amp draw test. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/dc-amp-draw
-
check all the buttons on the console. They should all beep when pressed. if not, that console is most likely the problem
-
check to see if you can tighten it up. if you can't, replace the belt.
-
Check the belt from the roller to the motor. Does it stop? does the motor keep spinning?
-
sometimes, those belts can be pretty dry and that causes a lot of friction. I would try lubing it some more and concentrate the lube right in front of where you walk. What I'm trying to accomplish is to re-condition the belt.

Lubricate the walking belt. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/premium-lube-10-1-oz and Here is a code you can use on the checkout page for a 5% discount (5offkevin)

I do have one other option. Check out this link. It's called the Treadmill Rescue Kit. Once you check out the video give me a call if you'd like more info. 888-362-1105 x 330. it's most likely less expensive than you would have paid for a replaceme…

Make sure the belt is well lubricated. dry spots can cause that.
