Typically, that would be ok. Try the machine and let me know if it works ok.

intermittent issues are really hard to diagnose. Try this, start the machine and try moving the connections to see if you can reproduce the problem.

The first thing I would check it to make sure all the wire connections are tight. Specifically, the main harness at the motor controller all the way up to the console.

Stride length is what I believe you are talking about. I think that is important if more than 1 user is using the machine. Especially, if one of you is considerably taller than the other. Incline settings will allow limited stride length adjustment …

You'll need to replace that controller. What is the model number of the C990?

Were you able to successfully calibrate the machine after you installed the new controller?

Are you running in a preset program?

Check the wire harness for damaged or pinched wires.

There will be a specific model number on your treadmill. fold it up to the storage position and look down on the main frame. as long as the model number is the same, then you have the correct belt. typically, we recommend replacing the belts every 4…

That is a motor controller failure. if you decide to replace it, get some lube and lubricate the walking belt. Here is a code you can use on the checkout page for a 5% discount (5offkevin)

Verify that all the buttons on the console Beep when pressed. you can also check the motor. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/motor-testing. If all that checks out, it's most likely a failed motor controller

There is a flow chart too. did you see that? Problem here isn't that we can't figure out what's wrong with it. the problem is getting parts for it. anything you find is going to be a used part.

it starts at section 4 of the service manual. if you don't have the one I have, message me your email and I'll forward it to you. it's too big to copy paste here.

were you able to run any of the tests for the incline. going into the engineering mode may give a little insight into what is wrong
