Replacement belt bigger then original

Hi, I have a Livestrong LS15.0T treadmill and recently ordered a new drive belt from Treadmill Doctor. When I tried to replace the belt and adjusted the tension on the walking belt, the drive belt was still loose. when put next to the old belt the new one seems slightly bigger. Is there anything that can be done or could a return for the proper belt be set up?
