Belt “runaway” on incline
I just got a Proform Pro 9000 the other day and was playing around with different speeds and inclines and noticed the treadmill wont maintain speed at a higher incline the belt will pretty much “run away” to the point that your running with minimal resistance. It still will read out 1 mph, but the treadmill is at a jog speed.
I don't believe it is belt slip because there are no problems with normal running and have tightened the belt as tight as i feel comfortable (close to the 2” deflection point) before going any further with it.
