Motor brushes?

I have this model treadmill:

Horizon LS760T 2.0 HP Digital Drive Motor Set Part Number 016154-Z

Over the past 12 years I have replaced everything except the drive motor. I'm familiar with cars, not treadmills. I'm wondering if the motor simply needs new brushes.

    What seems to be the problem you are having with your treadmill? You can replace the motor brushes if can find them, otherwise you would have to replace the entire drive motor.
