Can I use a silicone lubricant?
I have a (very old) Image 10.2 treadmill, mfg. by ICON Health & Fitness. It came with a powder lubricant between the belt and deck. Despite its age, it works perfectly, but the belt has never been re-lubed. The owner's manual says do NOT use silicone lubricants, but when I search for treadmill lubricant on the Web, everything seems to be silicone. So. . . have the current silicone lubes been refined to the point where I could use them, despite what the manual says?
