Is it a console problem or software problem - Livestrong 15.0T-C1 TM450B

I have what should be a great treadmill, however, I didn't use it for a few years and when I came back to using it, the console display froze when powering it up. Sometimes unplugging it from the wall and plugging it back in allows the screen to come back but it doesn't remain. The screen starts becoming fuzzy like an old tube tv on a bad signal channel. I have tried following the diagnostic instructions found here:

and everything seems fine. I'm not able to determine the exact resistor in the final page as my board is slightly different than the one in the manual. I'm at a loss for what to do. Power is 12V, continuity tests pass and I cannot find the software to update anywhere. Anyone got suggestions?

  • you'll need to replace the whole console on this. the individual parts like the actual board is no longer available from the manufacturer
