NordicTrack Commercial 1500 starts then stops after 2 seconds

Model# NTL09707.1. Serial# V54132146. Treadmill is older but worked great up until yesterday! I start it on manual and the belt runs for 1-2 seconds, then stops. I turn it off, try it again and same happens.

Trying to determine if it's worth it to try to repair or just buy a new one. Thanks!

Ok, I installed the new motor controller and it appears everything works fine.

Except there's a high pitched squeal coming from the console. How do I get it to stop?

That is from the speakers. The only way to make that go away is to disconnect the speakers. the original board, which is no longer available is a 12W board, the replacement board is an upgraded board and it is a 30W board.
