New NordicTrack 1750 doesn't recognize safety key

Just bought a NordicTrack 1750, after assembly the screen took me through wifi/registering etc then gave message about safety key not inserted. I've detached/attached the key multiple times and powered off and on but same message no matter what. Any help appreciated!

  • I would take console apart and look to see if a connection came loose in side the console where the safety key goes.
