Proform Pro 2000 treadmill down on power and noisier

I was running on my treadmill when it momentarily paused, then came back on a little slower and with a new humming noise. I assumed it was the motor and took it somewhere to be checked... they said it was fine but I don't know how thoroughly they tested it.

Anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences?
