livestrong LS8T Amp Draw Test

Hi there

I have a livestrong LS8T ( TM652) treadmill. I am doing a amp draw test after replacing the lower control board. At 2 miles per hour unloaded i get 3.2 amps reading. At two miles per hour and walking i get a 10-15 amps reading on the motor. Motor resistance is 1.6 ohms. Everything looks to be fine, Deck is good and lubricated, rollers are fine, Walking belt is not overtighten. What should be OK amp reading ? between 4 and 8 amps ? anything i can check ?

thank you guys

  • Normal amp draw with load is 6 to 8 amps, sounds like a worn walking belt. If you need to purchase parts below is a discount code.
