Surge Suppressor

in Treadmill Problems
I have plugged my treadmill into a surge protector, but, every 20 minutes (I think when my refrigerator chiller kicks in), I get a surge of electricity which causes the treadmill to speed up suddenly/unexpectedly, causing me to "panic" and have to catch myself from falling off... Does anyone have a Surge Suppressor that they can recommend?

    surge protector won't stop that issue, you may want to think on plugging treadmill into a outlet that does not have your refrigerator on it.

    right... you'd think that would help... but, they are in different rooms, and I checked that they are also on different circuits...
