when starting treadmill it starts up and runs extremely fast then shuts itself down..it does not respond to any buttons being pushed in the few seconds it is on..what is the problem?? thank you!!

sounds like your motor controller went bad.

is motor controller the same as the motor control board?

ADMIN please help again..im not trying to spend more on parts than I did for the treadmill. Could something have caused the motor control board to fail or is replacing it should take care of the problem?? please help I have no idea

A worn out walking belt can make a motor controller go bad because of the high friction.
