incline trainer x3 motor controller replacement problem

on my incline trainer x3 interactive I replaced the motor controller I got from you guys everything work great except... the incline motor works the opposite way that it should. on 0 incline it goes to 40 and on 40 it goes to 0. got any ideas?

    On some of the old controllers, the polarity between the red and black wires are reversed. If your incline motor runs backward (up is down and down is up) then you will need to follow the red and black wires from the harness to the terminals they plug on to at the incline motor and swap the wires. (Attach the red wire to the black terminal and the black wire to the red terminal.
