pro-form XP 542 E (starts and runs full speed for a few seconds and shuts down)

HI I recently purchased a used XP 542E Treadmill, when I got it home I pressed start it appears to run full speed for about a second and shuts down immediately.

Any ideas for me would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad Motor controller

Any thoughts on if a bad reed switch could also cause it?
