Pacemaster ProSelect Error Code 31

I am having issues with my Pacemaster ProSelect. Getting the Error Code 31 every time I start it up. I replaced the optical sensor, but am still getting the same error code. I looked into the manual and there are two different sets up instructions - 1)IF THERE IS MOTOR MOVEMENT and 2)IF THERE IS NO MOTOR MOVEMENT. I definitely hear the motor trying when I attempt to turn on the treadmill, but no movement in terms of making the belt move.

Bought the treadmill used, so I don't think replacing the motor would be worth it. Any thoughts on if this can be fixed without replacing the drive motor?

  • I would test motor to see if its bad or good first. https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/motor-testing
  • Thanks. So I tested the motor with a separate battery and the battery powered the motor fine. I assume this would mean there is an issue somewhere on the control board? What would be my next steps?
  • The control board is no longer available for that unit.
