Horizon T202 incline motor wiring fix

Recently bought this treadmill at Goodwill. First one we've ever owned. Very quiet tread motor, but the incline motor wouldn't work. Finally dug into it today and found that one of the wires behind the connector cover on the motor had been smashed by one of the screws holding the cover on. It was pinched enough that some of the wire was exposed. I figured it had probably been shorting out against the motor housing and, sure enough, once I separated it and wrapped some electrical tape around the wounded wire the motor worked like a champ!

  • Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy your treadmill, Make sure you lube the deck once a year to keep the friction down.
