Reebok Jet 100: Troubleshooting Noise
Hello all,
I'm hoping for some advice please. I'm a complete novice to gym equipment and am not very technically minded, but I'll try my best to explain.
In November 2021 I purchased new a Reebok Jet 100 Series treadmill. This weekend just gone, I lubricated the running deck and also realigned the belt, since it had come a bit misaligned. I left it to run for 10 minutes as per the instructions, all good so far.
Today I've gone to use the treadmill and noticed a clicking sound, or as if something is 'catching', coming from the motor. As the machine speeds up it becomes faster and faster until you cannot hear it over the speed of the belt, but then comes back into audible range once the machine slows back down. I took the motor casing off and its 100% coming from the location of the motor.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this may be or how it can be resolved? I have got a short video with the noise on, but am unsure if I can post on here or not.
Any help gladly received.
Daniel
