Aligning belt on Precor TRM 425/445
We successfully relocated our treadmill from the living room into an adjacent room, but the belt seems to have gotten off center. It does not seem to be technically rubbing on the left side, but it's only about 1/4 inch from the edge on the left side, and 1 1/4 inch from the right edge. So off by half-inch to the left. There are no bad noises, but we want to prevent any issues. We actually started looking at it because after moving it, it wouldn't go over 1mph, that seems to have resolved itself with an unplug/re-plugin.
We are using the guidance in the Owner's Manual that tells us to only turn the right hex bolt a 1/4 turn counterclockwise (to move the belt right), and we have repeated the process about 6 times, but this seems to do nothing to the belt alignment. We are even using a measuring tape to confirm the belt is not moving. The owner's manual says to only use the right hex bolt, but perhaps we need to do a more extreme adjustment? Thanks for your help!
