NordicTrack 2250 speed calibration

Long story short (I'll try anyway).
The mother board went on my 3 month old NordicTrack Commercial 2250 treadmill. NordicTrack sent me a new one free of charge. Upon installing the new mother board I noticed that the speed didn't seem accurate. The belt seemed to be moving much faster than the display said it was. I measured the belt and discovered that ;
- the belt made 80 full revolutions in 1 minute when the speed was set at 7.5 mph or 8 Minute / mile pace.
- the belt is 124" long
- this means that the belt is travelling 9,920 inches per minute or 9.39 MPH when the Treadmill is set at 7.5 MPH.

There is no way of manually calibrating the speed on this model treadmill. NordicTrack ensures me that the mother boards are pre-calibrated for speed. After speaking with NordicTrack they reluctantly sent me another mother board. First thing I did when I installed the second replacement is check the speed. Same EXACT results... when set at 7.5 MPH, the belt is moving at 9.39 MPH.

The units are in MPH and not Kilometers per Hour.

Have you heard of this problem before with this model?
Is my calculation accurate?
What else can I do?

Thank you in advance
