Slippery belt surface, best way to treat??
Not sure what to do here and seeking some advice. I sprayed some Armor All-like product on my treadmill belt in an attempt restore some of the sheen to it (there was some sort of white residue leftover from using some type of spray disinfectant to clean it). It looks great however, as you can imagine, not so good for traction when running due to the slippery surface.
Any thoughts on what I can do to remedy this? Is there a cleaning product that is safe to use on the belt that doesn't leave residue (not sure what the residue was but it was very difficult to remove even with soap and water).

if you use a damp cloth and Dawn - that is the best detergent...
I would suggest though our belt cleaner:

and once you have cleaned - please use:
https://www.treadmilldoctor.com/world-famous-lube
Our lube is the absolute best and is world-famous for its ability to repel dirt!
While silicone has to be reapplied every 30-60 days, depending upon use, our lube lasts up to 18 months with a single application. This is one instance where less is better.
If you apply too much of our lube, it is designed to shed itself and it ends up on your flooring.
