Treadmill breaker trips

Why is it that my 6 year old can get on the treadmill without tripping and then I get on and trips with in 2min. I’m 165lb

    Good morning!

    Sounds like you have a short either in the motor controller or drive motor...

    can you unplug the drive motor from lower board and then see what happens?

    If breaker still trips you have a bad motor controller. If it does not trip then you have a short in motor.

    It doesn’t trip. It only does it when the motor is running and I get on it. If no one gets on it, it will run all day

    sounds like a friction problem with the walking belt, try to lube the belt and see if that helps.
