Speed variation and speed display

My Proform 520 Trainer has speed variations while in use and the speed display is at zero and after 10 to 15 minutes the speed goes really fast. All other digital displays seem to be working fine.

    Sounds like its a motor controller going bad, when was the last time you lube the deck?
