Pacemaster Bronze Basic - is there a way to turn off the beep sounds that the control panel makes?

I have a Pacemaster Bronze Basic treadmill that is still working great. I would just like to be able to silence the control panel so that it does not make any beeps. Is there a way to do that? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

    You would have to take it apart and maybe cut speaker wire inside.
