Motor belt cracked

in Treadmill Problems
Hi. I have a Kettler treadmill which is working fine, but I see that the motor belt has a couple of cracks on the outside, parallel to the grooves (photo here: https://imgur.com/a/yAW3Azk). Should such belt be changed immediately, or not unless some problems appear?

The treadmill is about 8 years old, but very lightly used.
