I recently Pro-Form Treadmills through Costco. The first one is Premier 1300. After putting everything together, every time the RUN button is pressed, the belt moved for several inches, the circuit break tripped. Call Pro-form tech support, was instructed to disconnect the belt motor power supply, everything works as it suppose be, therefore I was told that the belt motor is defective. Called Costco for returning the defective treadmill, and ordered another one, this time I ordered Premier 500 instead. It is smaller and simpler. The new treadmill arrived three days ago. Again put everything together, press RUN, belt moved several inches, circuit break tripped. I checked all the grounding on the treadmill they are all fine. By the way, I am electrical engineer and I am pretty good at hardware. I believer that there was nothing wrong in the way of assembling. In fact it was pretty simple and straight forward. Can any body help me to find out what really is going on? Thanks.
