NordicTrack X11i Incline Trainer - Bad Motor Control Board or Driver Motor?

Everything on this NordicTrack X11i Incline Trainer bought in 2015 works with the exception of the belt drive. The display board works and connects to WiFi, the fan works, and even the incline works. In fact, when using the display board to find a new venue to jog, the incline will go to the incline of the venue. So I know the problem is either the motor control board or the drive motor. How do I determine which it is?
