Proform Crosswalk 390 - Loud and slows under load

edited August 2018 in Treadmill Problems
We inherited a Proform treadmill and I'm looking to see if it's worth fixing up. The treadmill is much louder than I believe it should be and it bogs down a bit when you apply load under 3mph.

Can anyone confirm if the motor needs to be replaced at this stage? The walking belt doesn't feel terrible underneath but the top has clear wear marks. The deck is also clean and lubricated. I'm aware I need to adjust the belt further as it's gone back to leaning to the right.

Edit: Here is a link to two videos demonstrating the noise

  • Sounds like you have a issue with your motor and most likely the walking belt will also need to be replaced and lube every 6 months.
