Wondering if i'm on the right path here, have a NT exp1000i treadmill, unit powers on fine, some buttons on the console don't work, like the speed down button and 1/2(left side) of the speed presets. Motor spins up. also the incline/decline don't function. I'm hoping its something i can fix on the console and not a replacement console as its not cost effective to replace.

I don't think its the motor controller as it speeds up fine and will stop when the "stop" is pushed on the console.

any thoughts?
anyone else experiencing the same or similar issues?

    Its in the console, you can try to unplug the ribbon cable clean the end with contact cleaner and then try it again.
